The Hotel is located in the city of Jerez de la Frontera in the province of Cádiz. It is situated just off the A4 motorway from Seville to Cádiz and only 10 minutes far from the town centre. Overlooking one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe, the Hotel Montecastillo is more a palace than a hotel and perfectly blends with the undulating landscape of Andalucia. The Hotel includes 121 deluxe rooms and suites all tastefully decorated in traditional Andalusian style, with an air of elegance and simplicity, to blend in with the surrounding environment.
All rooms are fully equipped with minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning, direct dial telephone and hair dryer. Most have a balcony or terrace.

The golf course is located 10 kilometres from Jerez on the road towards Arcos (N-342). Right beside Montecastillo is the Jerez car race track which can be partially seen from the highway.
Right next to the Jerez racing circuit, site of world championship formula 1 and motor races, the course proudly waves the name of its designer Jack Nicklaus. This champion player has demonstrated his supreme knowledge of the game in each of the holes of this Jerez course, which was inaugurated with a European Tour tournament hosting the Turespaña Master Open of Andalucia in 1994.
